Beauport bathroom
Beauport bathroom
Type: Residential – Renovation
Location: Beauport, QC
Role: Interior Designer, Concept Development, and 2D & 3D Renderings
Project Description:
This bathroom is a continuation of the kitchen renovation project and was designed around a “natural” theme. The space was expanded by 18 inches (457mm) by incorporating a portion of the adjacent bedroom, allowing for the creation of a spacious and comfortable shower—a feature that has completely transformed the clients’ experience.
Natural light was maximized thanks to the glass shower enclosure and white wood-effect ceramic tiles, which envelop the space and accentuate the sense of openness. The natural cherry wood vanity adds the necessary warmth to the room and perfectly balances the more mineral-toned surfaces.
The antique-finished granite countertop, a discovery for the clients during the materials presentation, quickly became a favorite. Upon installation, the final result even exceeded their expectations.
Finally, the old 1980s corner bathtub was replaced with a freestanding bathtub featuring a sleek design, allowing this bathroom to fully embrace the modern era – elegant, functional, and timeless.
