Project Description:

The Adstock House project was born out of the clients’ desire to design a family home where comfort, warmth, and nature come together in a timeless setting. Inspired by the farmhouse chic style with organic influences, the home features authentic materials, a palette of soft tones, and a warm interior design, striking a balance between elegance and simplicity.

The design centers on highlighting the space’s volumes and ceilings, which are the project’s defining features. The incorporation of exposed beams and wood paneling adds character to the space while emphasizing the rooms’ height and natural light. Large windows foster a constant connection with the surrounding landscape, reinforcing the impression of a bright, airy interior that is deeply connected to nature.

At the heart of the residence, the kitchen was designed as a true gathering space. Its generous island encourages daily interaction, while the natural stone-used on the backsplash behind the sink and repeated in the living room fireplace-creates a unifying thread between the different living areas. Cabinetry in soft hues, wood accents, and warm finishes replace uniform white to create a more enveloping and refined atmosphere.

The layout also emphasizes maximizing storage to maintain a clean and functional environment. Each space has been designed to conceal everyday items and maintain a constant sense of order, without compromising the project’s aesthetics. The choice of durable, low-maintenance materials meets the needs of a home designed to be as practical as it is inviting.

The entire project reflects an approach in which organic forms, natural textures, and warm contrasts come together in a simple, timeless composition. Adstock House thus offers a welcoming living environment, where every detail contributes to creating a gentle, friendly, and soothing atmosphere that is perfectly suited to the lifestyle of its residents.
